Hi! Are these PDFs tagged for screen readers? I'd love to get these, but want to make sure I can actually read them before I do. If not, let me know if I can help or provide any feedback.

hey there parhamdoustdar, the PDFs are not tagged for screen readers. The text is text, not images, but it does not have alternative text on images, proper heading structure, or accessible tables to be properly accessible.

I am looking into what effort and cost it would take to make the PDFs properly accessible. It seems daunting.

I've increased the community copies, parhamdoustdar. Feel free to take a free copy and see if it works for you.

Hi there! Thanks a lot for the super quick reply and the community copy! Will take a look during the week!

Usually, when I collaborate with layout designers, I've found that it looks like a lot in the beginning, but it's very easy to break it down. Once you know where to start, it's rinse and repeat for 90% of the cases, and it's mostly about making a few decisions for the edge cases.

Do you do the layout yourself, or you had someone helping you? If the latter, maybe they already know about it?

If I can help in any way, let me know. I can put you in touch with a couple of layout designers who know about the "how", or I can chat with you to help you prioritize issues, or go through the PDFs and tell you the issues they have.

If you don't have the capacity right now, that's also okay. I'd love to run this game, and experience it, but I also don't want to destroy your life in the process <3

I used Kickstarter funds to pay for the professional layout of the book and PDF. I've reached out to them for a quote on the work. It's going to take a bit to afford that. In the interim, I'm working on alternate text for the images in the book. Also, if a Google word doc version of the text would work for you, let me know and I can send it to you, parhamdoustdar.

OMG, a Google Doc version would be awesome since it would have all the formatting included in it. That would be wonderful. Not sure how to share my email with you though.
